FULTON, Mo. - Divya Gunasegar was the women's champion of the WWU Fall Invitational while the Lincoln men's golf team claimed 13th at the tournament, hosted by William Woods University at Tanglewood Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 29-30).

Gunasegar, playing as an individual, shot a 146 to win the championship by one stroke. Gunasegar led from start to finish, carding an even-par 72 on Monday before firing a 74 on Tuesday.

The LU men were led by Jett Maasen, who tied for 15th with a two-under total of 142. Maasen shot a 71 in each of the tourney's two rounds. As a team, the Blue Tigers carded scores of 304 on both Monday and Tuesday for a final total of 608.

Ayden Howard finished tied for 48th with a sum of 151 after shooting scores of 75 and 76. Alejo Tovar Cardona, meanwhile, carded a 79 on Monday and a 77 on Tuesday to finish the WWU Fall Invitational with a score of 156.

Zebulon Barnes was next for the Blue Tigers with a sum of 159. Barnes opened the tourney with a 79 and shot an 80 during the second round. Closing out LU was Carlos Thomas with a total of 190, as he posted scores of 97 and 93.
