JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Lincoln head softball coach
Jason Ollison and head women's soccer coach
Leah Stringer were once again named "Missouri's Best" at their respective positions in the 2025-26 edition of Missouri's Best Magazine.
This is the fourth-straight year that Ollison has been named "Missouri's Best" college softball coach. Ollison, now in his fourth season leading the Lincoln softball program, led the Blue Tigers to their best season since 2011 last spring. Lincoln won 16 games, recorded a no-hitter, had seven league victories and recorded seven shutouts. In addition to their success on the field, Ollison's players also excelled in the classroom, with 23 student-athletes earning academic All-GLVC honors.
Coach Stringer, the first-ever women's soccer coach at Lincoln, led the Blue Tigers to a 1-0 victory over Minnesota Crookston in the first match in program history. The Blue Tigers started the 2024 campaign with a 4-0 record and later beat Southwest Baptist, 1-0, for the program's first conference victory. Stringer's team also had a strong year in the classroom, with eight players earning academic All-GLVC accolades.
