JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Lincoln baseball team hit two home runs on Friday (April 11), but the Blue Tigers fell to William Jewell, 17-4. 
Two of LU's runs came on a homer by 
Mac Biggs in the fifth inning. 
Jacob Schulte opened that frame with a triple before scoring on Biggs' blast over the left centerfield fence. 
Easton Stuckenschneider hit the homer, a solo shot in the bottom of the sixth. Lincoln (4-29, 2-15 GLVC) tacked on another run in the seventh as Andy Sreboski IV came home after William Jewell (16-18, 8-9 GLVC) dropped a fly ball.
Stuckenschneider and 
Blythe Blakey each had two hits while Sreboski and 
Jayden Little each had one. 
Jacob Claborn and 
Drake Davidson each struck out Cardinal batters. Little led the LU defense with eight putouts and Schulte and 
Miguel Padron each had four. Stuckenschneider added two assists.
Lincoln and William Jewell will play a double-header at Vivion Field on Saturday (April 12) at 12:00 p.m. CDT.
