Tyler Chapman received All-GLVC recognition, the conference office announced on Wednesday (March 5). Yetna was selected to the All-GLVC first team and All-Defensive team while Chapman was named to the All-GLVC second team.
Yetna led the GLVC in offensive rebounds (2.9, the 44th-most in NCAA Division II) and finished eighth in the league total rebounds (6.6) per game. Yetna also posted the GLVC's eighth-best field goal percentage of .495 while averaging 15.8 points per contest, the 10th-most in the league. He additionally had 40 blocks, the fourth-most in the GLVC, and dished 34 assists to go with 34 steals. Yetna led a Blue Tiger defense that finished the regular season ranked fourth in the country in field goal defense (.391) and seventh nationally in scoring defense (63.6).
Chapman finished ninth in the GLVC in assists per game (3.2) and posted the league's sixth-best assist-to-turnover ratio (1.5). He also shot .449 overall and .452 from three-point range en route to averaging 13.4 points per game. Chapman ended the season with 86 assists and 31 steals while pulling down 3.2 rebounds per contest.
The Blue Tigers, who won 20 games in a season for the first time since 2000-01, earned the No. 4 seed in the GLVC tournament and will play Lewis in the quarterfinals on Friday (March 7). Tip-off from Hyland Arena at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. CST.
