FAYETTE, Iowa - Enari Thomas and Solomon Oraegbu each scored 16 points, but the Lincoln men's basketball team dropped a 76-62 decision to Upper Iowa on Thursday (Dec. 4). 

Lincoln (4-3, 1-2 GLVC) shot .480 overall and .333 from three-point range in the first half, but Upper Iowa (6-1, 2-0 GLVC), which shot .563 for the game, held the Blue Tigers .323 shooting in the second half. The Blue Tigers scored 20 points off 13 UIU turnovers, and the Peacocks held just a slim 32-30 advantage in rebounding, but Upper Iowa scored 38 points inside the paint. 

Oraegbu dished two assists and grabbed three rebounds while Thomas had two rebounds for the Blue Tigers. Matthieu Biembongo led Lincoln with seven rebounds and chipped in 10 points to go with three steals, two assists and LU's lone block of the evening. Malcolm Davis added seven points, two steals, a pair of assists and a rebound.

Max Ekono, who had five rebounds and two assists, and D'Necco Rucker each scored five points. Rucker also had two boards and a steal. Tyler Chapman closed the scoring with three points, two rebounds, a pair of assists and two steals. Rashad Williams pulled down two rebounds.

Lincoln travels to Romeoville, Ill. on Saturday (Dec. 6) to play Lewis at 3:00 p.m. CST.
