JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Lincoln men's basketball team picked up its third-straight win with a 69-61 victory over Arkansas Baptist on Wednesday (Dec. 17).
D'Necco Rucker led the Blue Tigers with 27 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks and three steals, and he tied for the team-lead in assists with four.
Solomon Oraegbu provided 19 points and six rebounds while
Max Ekono also ended the night in double figures with 14 points, five boards and an assist.
After a slow first half, in which Lincoln (7-4) shot .357 from the field, the Blue Tigers warmed up in the second, shooting .478 overall and .625 from beyond the arc. The Blue Tigers held a 38-29 advantage in rebounding, but Arkansas Baptist (6-6) shot .439 from the field for the contest. LU led for nearly the entire game; the only lead for ABC was 2-0 advantage at the start of the contest, but Ekono drained a three and Lincoln never trailed afterwards.
Malcolm Davis scored six points, grabbed five rebounds, dished four assists, registered two steals and blocked a shot.
Robin Discamps closed the scoring with three points, an assist and a steal. Sterlin Rivera notched two takeaways and dished an assist, and
Amar Kadic finished with two boards and an assist.
Rashad Williams represented LU with six rebounds.
Lincoln closes the 2025 portion of the its 2025-26 schedule on Saturday (Dec. 20) against Purdue Northwest. That contest, which will be played at Lincoln Land Community College, is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. CST.
