NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Four players scored in double figures as the Lincoln men's basketball team beat Auburn University of Montgomery on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 16). The game, which was played at Fisk University, was a neutral site contest for both programs.
Franck Yetna had a double-double to lead the Blue Tigers, tallying 19 points, 14 rebounds, four blocks, two assists and a steal.
Tyler Chapman and
Mikey West each chipped in 12 points, with Chapman additionally recording six rebounds and team-highs in assists (three) and steals (two). West, meanwhile, finished with four boards, two assists and a steal.
Xavier Ball also ended the day in double figures, registering 10 points, five rebounds, two blocks, a pair of assists and a steal.
Malcolm Davis pulled down seven rebounds to go with give points, a block and a steal.
Max Ekono added four points, two boards and a steal to the winning effort.
Fred Cuello drained a three to close out the scoring and also grabbed a rebound.
Matthieu Biembongo blocked three shots while
Youssouf Timera also represented Lincoln on the court.
Up next for the Blue Tigers is a Monday morning game against Clarke on November 25. Tip-off from Jason Gym in Jefferson City, Mo. is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. CST.
