JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Lincoln football team celebrated Senior Day on Saturday (Nov. 16), but fell to Indianapolis, 52-0, in its final game of the 2024 season.
Prior to the contest, a ceremony was held to honor LU's graduating players:

Blayden Brown were also recognized for their contribution to the Blue Tiger football program.
Indianapolis (10-1, 8-0 GLVC), which entered the game ranked No. 14 in the American Football Coaches Association's Division II poll, scored on its first offensive play of the game and held Lincoln (1-10, 0-8 GLVC) off the scoreboard. The Blue Tigers played turnover-free football and finished the afternoon with four sacks and seven tackles for loss.Â
Donte Moore had a hurry, led LU with 11 tackles and tied with
Jacob McGhee, who had seven takedowns and a hurry, with 1.5 sacks apiece.
Desean Logan-Russell broke up a pass and made seven tackles while
Jayvon Only and
Christian Harris each had six tackles and broke up passes. Only additionally was credited with a hurry.
Yasir Talib-Harrison had 1.5 tackles for loss and a hurry and
Renard Willis posted a tackle for loss, with both players also making six tackles on the afternoon.
Dontonio Moore registered a sack, made five tackles and recorded a hurry. Williams had 0.5 tackles for loss and Ashford broke up a pass, as did
Nathan Harden.
Jordan Hoskins added five tackles.
Winkler averaged 36.8 yards on punts with a long of 49 and four kicks landing inside the opponent's 20.
Isaiah Tate threw for 51 yards and gained another 20 on the ground. Porter had 20 rushing yards,
Jareese Howard finished with 14 and
RaeSean Eaton added 12.
Anias Camarillo,
Nico Wiedmann and
Tobias Williams each caught two passes.
