ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Lincoln men's basketball team improved to 3-0 on the season with an 84-68 victory over Harris Stowe on Wednesday night (Nov. 15).
Franck Yetna poured in 25 points to lead the Blue Tigers and had three rebounds to go with an assist and a steal.
Elijah Farr finished with 13 points, nine boards, two assists, a block and a steal.
Jose Roberto Tanchyn, meanwhile, contributed 10 points, nine rebounds, a pair of assists and two steals.
Lincoln shot a blistering .615 from the floor in the first half en route to a 47-31 lead at the break. For the game, the Blue Tigers shot .545 from the field and .875 from the line while holding Harris Stowe (2-6) to .370 shooting overall and .182 from beyond the arc.
LU finished with a 34-23 advantage in rebounding, with
Sam Rautins grabbing six of those boards to go with nine points and two assists.
DJ Richardson also had nine points, led Lincoln with three rebounds and had a steal as well as four rebounds.
Caleb Wright had a steal and chipped in six points.
Tyson Robinson ended the night with five points and a pair of assists while
Peyton Williams finished with four points and two boards.
Jamar Madge, Jr. closed the scoring with three points and three assists.
Lincoln opens its 2023-24 home slate on Thursday (Nov. 16) by hosting Spurgeon at 6:00 p.m. CST.
