ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Lincoln football team dropped a 41-0 decision to Missouri Western in its final game of 2022 on Saturday (Nov. 12).
Zamar Brake completed 11 passes for 131 yards, and
Aderias Ealy led LU with three receptions for 78 yards.
Samuel Ingoli added 30 receiving yards and Nathan Valencia caught two passes for 21 yards.
Lincoln (0-11, 0-11 MIAA) held Missouri Western (5-6, 5-6 MIAA) to just seven points in the first quarter, but the Griffons scored another touchdown early in the second quarter before taking a 20-0 lead into the half. The Blue Tiger defense continued to stand tall in the third quarter, again holding MWSU to just one score, but Missouri Western managed to keep LU off the board in the second half.
Aeneas Tibbs intercepted a pass, Julian Jackson-Linkhart made seven tackles and
Charles Ransom was responsible for five tackles, including a sack.
Jaylon Mosley had a tackle for loss and six overall takedowns, while
Otis Jackson, who finished with five tackles,
Cody Bagby and Kyvin Carroll each also had a tackle for loss. Markey Mallary andÂ
Samuel Amituanai each finished with five tackles apiece.
