Tavia Hall & JerMichael White Named Department Graduate Assistants

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Tavia Hall and JerMichael White have joined the Lincoln Department of Athletics as graduate assistants for the 2021-22 school year.

Along with assisting in the coordinating and execution of sporting contests and department events, Hall and White will specialize in creating creative content for Lincoln's social media platforms as well as www.LUBlueTigers.com. Both graduate assistants will help enhance the Blue Tiger brand through photography, video content and the creation of specialized graphics.

"We are fortunate to have Creatives as talented as Tavia and JerMichael join the Ambush," said Kevin Wilson, Vice President for Athletics, Advancement and Campus Recreation. "They both come from universities where they had to be resourceful, thoughtful and imaginative when telling the student-athlete story. I look forward to seeing how they mix unique student-athlete stories, the stellar reputation of the MIAA and the gem that is Jeff City to grow the Blue Tiger brand."

Hall came to Lincoln after working as a creative services intern at Washington State University, where she assisted the athletic department's marketing and communication branches through the creation of promotional graphics. Hall also has experience as a social media intern with One Famm Music Group in Tacoma, Wash., where she examined traffic analytics and posted content to help develop the company's social media strategy.

A 2019 graduate of Washington State with a bachelor of arts degree in digital technology and culture, Hall gained experience as a student by serving as the secretary and public relations specialist for the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Hall was also the student president of the College Success Scholars Club.

White, a former NCAA Division I football player, graduated from Western Carolina University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship.
