JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Nine student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent to continue their careers with the Lincoln football team. All nine will enter Lincoln University as freshmen with four seasons of eligibility.
Jamari Collier, WR (6-0, 175, Coral Gables, Fla.)
Collier helped Coral Glades reach the postseason for the first time in program history as a senior. His play helped CGHS average over 32 points in its victories, and caught an 80-yard touchdown pass in the program's first playoff game. As a junior, Collier caught 18 passes for 238 yards for an average of 13.2 yards per reception. He also gained 97 yards on the ground.
Shasmo DeSalle, OL (6-3, 290, Metairie, La.)
An offensive tackle from Grace King High, DeSalle was one of the Fighting Irish's top blockers. His position coach, Terrell Simon, said, "Shasmo's determination and dedication over the past Dyear is a prime example of putting your mind to doing everything you need to, in order to succeed."
Jamario Harris, RB (5-10, 205, Horn Lake, Miss.)
Harris averaged 5.9 yards per carry and scored eight touchdowns as a sophomore at Horn Lake High. As a senior, he led HLHS to a 5-2 record in regional play as well as a postseason berth.
Brandon Mackey, RB (5-10, 190, Marion, Ark.)
Mackey rushed for over 800 yards and eight touchdowns during his three-year career on the Marion High varsity team. Mackey also had a receiving touchdown as a senior, and averaged 7.5 yards per carry in 2020. During his three-year tenure, he never averaged less than 5.0 yards per attempt, and Mackey compiled 710 all-purpose yards during his senior campaign.
Christopher Mitchell, TE (6-2, 230, Indianapolis, Ind.)
Mitchell, a football and basketball player at Pike High, caught 32 passes for 467 yards and four scores during his senior season. His superior play as both a receiver and a blocker earned Mitchell a spot on the 2020 All-IndyStar Super Team.
Dontonio Moore, OLB (6-3, 210, Marion, Ark.)
Moore made 35 tackles, including three for loss, during his senior season at Marion High. A three-year varsity letterwinner, Moore totaled 77 tackles, including six for loss, and intercepted six passes while recording a fumble recovery. He had three interceptions during his senior season, including one he ran back for a touchdown.
Christopher Parker, DB (6-0, 175, Choctaw, Okla.)
Parker helped lead Choctaw High to the Oklahoma 6A-II championship game in 2020, as the team went 6-2 in the league and 9-4 overall. Parker played wide receiver, free safety and cornerback at Choctaw and was named to the All-Big 10 Conference first team as a defensive back as a senior.
Jakob Scott, OL (6-3, 315, Pilot Point, Texas)
An accomplished offensive lineman, Scott earned first team all-district recognition and was a two-time academic all-district selection at Pilot Point High. Scott blocked for a Bearcat squad that won the 2020 Class 3A-Division I Region 1 Area Championship. Pilot Point ended the year 10-4, averaged 263.7 rushing yards per game and scored 73 total touchdowns.
Markel Wynn, WR (6-0, 185, Marion, Ark.)
Wynn averaged 14.3 yards per catch at Marion High and helped lead the program to the 6A semifinals in 2020. As a sophomore, he had 500 receiving yards and caught five touchdown passes.
