SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -
AJ Bradley scored nine points to lead the Lincoln women's basketball team against Missouri State in an exhibition contest on Friday evening (Nov. 5). The Blue Tigers forced 15 turnovers and received 21 points from their bench, but the Bears ended up with the win, 100-44.
Twelve Blue Tigers played on Friday, with
Niyah Jackson and
Hya Haywood each scoring eight points.
Niyah Jackson tallied two steals and a pair of assists, while Haywood also recorded a steal.
Le'Yanna McGinnis led Lincoln with seven rebounds and had a steal as well as two points, and
Imani Jones provided three points, four boards, a block and two takeaways.
Haylie Holloway was LU's next-leading scorer with five points and two boards, and
Deija Jackson scored three points to go with five rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Kylie Bernskoetter also had a steal, and
Kelsey Mitchell grabbed four rebounds while scoring two points.
Ashtin Ingram and
Ayreona Carter scored two points apiece, with Ingram pulling down two rebounds and Carter providing a block, a board and an assist.
Bailey Lewis also represented the Blue Tigers on the court on Friday.
Lincoln will open its 2021-22 season at home next Friday (Nov. 12), as the Blue Tigers host Southern Arkansas in Jason Gym at 7:30 p.m. CST.
