Lorenz nearly no-hit Pittsburg State to start off the week, as she allowed just a soft double in the fourth inning for the only hit of a complete game 1-0 shutout victory, while also striking out eight. She shut down Missouri Southern in her next start, recording her second straight shutout in a 3-0 victory over the Lions, along with posting three strikeouts. She then came on in relief of the second game against Missouri Southern and kept the Blue Tigers in the game. Lorenz held the Lions to just one earned run over 5.2 innings, as Lincoln came back from a five-run deficit to force the game into extra innings before falling in nine.
