Freshman Roxroy Cato claimed the MIAA Men's Track Athlete of the Week honors this past Tuesday for his strong start to the 2010-11 indoor season. Cato holds the top time in Division II in the 400-meter dash posting a time of 47.11 seconds in the Iowa State Holiday Preview competing against several Division I athletes. He is ranked fifth in Division II in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.60 seconds set in the SIU Saluki Fast Start. He has the top time on the team in the 600-yard run with a clocked time of 1:12.59 set in the Missouri Invitational. He is part of the second-best 4x400m relay team in the nation, as the squad has a season top time of 3:14.92 set at the Iowa State Holiday Preview.
