One of the best offensive linemen to ever suit up for the Blue Tigers,
Henry Hailstock helped the Lincoln football team win 25 games between 1963-66. Often lined up against each team's best defensive linemen due to his speed and blocking prowess, Hailstock was an All-MWAA honorable mention as a junior and a first team All-MWAA selection as a senior. In 1964, Hailstock blocked for a team that out-scored opponents 353-108 en route to an 8-2 record and a No. 5 national ranking by the Pittsburgh Courier. Hailstock also helped LU to a 7-2 record in 1966.
Following his playing career, Hailstock was selected by the Houston Oilers in the 14th round of the 1967 National Football League Draft. Fellow Lincoln Athletic Hall of Famer Ezekiel Moore was also selected by the Houston Oilers in that draft, marking the first time in program history that two Blue Tigers were selected in the same draft.
